Thanks to the good people of Schweinfurt, or ‘furts, for coming to our final show of the tour. It felt very strange thinking ‘..this is the last time we’ll play this set’ at the end of the songs….sniff!
Our crew have been amazing all year, so huge thanks to Super Kev, Clemo, Jowie, Fester, Sweags, Yens-the-lens, Pritch, Toby(withuagain), Brian, Brian(the band with 2 brains?)DaveDay, Derek, Bernie, Han, Dan-the-man, Dan-the-chili, Royston, Trigger, Lisa, Jayne, Finchy, Dave&Leila, Neil, Sam, Sapna, Kim, Mike@DMC……. I can’t see the keyboard for the tears! Most of all though, big love to Mike, Nath, Sean, and Pete – beautiful dudes to hang with, and an honour to play with.
…And relax!……….Cheers Marc G
…it explains a lot!

Great tour guys, and big thanks again for coming over to the US. It was a joy to see and hear you.
Congratulations on an amazing year and the many new fans you have garnered along the way to join the old faithful!
Our trip following you around the eastern USA was the highlight of our year……tremendous fun meeting you all again (and Pete for the first time ….hope you stick around…pun intended)!
Already looking forward to doing it all again next year and to welcoming the band back to Canada after 24 years! (pleeeze bug your promoter to book you into Toronto’s Massey Hall).
Well done, lads!

Thanks for a fantastic tour guys! I was lucky enough to see the band in Alexandria, Pittsburgh [yes! Altar Bar] and was even luckier to be able to jump the pond and be at the taping night @ Indigo2 in the front row with many new friends and then go to Cliffs a few nights later. Sounds excessive, guess it was, but I waited so long. Here’s to a well deserved break!
We are very very glad to hear this tour was well.
You are all really FANTASTIC…
Thank you very much for all, and we hope you have a good rest.
Long live Level42. :)

Just like i posted yesterday… Thank you for an fastastic tour, hope for another 30 years to come 🙂 Guys you are all great.
Anyway, i want to thank all those behind the scene. They also worked very hard to get everything up on time. And yes also Kevin the tourmanager who booked so many nice theaters and let us come backstage 😉
Enjoy the time of and relax a little..
i started this post with a Level hit, and I end with one.
The tour was like “heaven in my hands” and i sure hope “to be with you again” soon!!
What a nice message mr King, reading about the mixed emotions about the happiness about the great job that’s been done, the sadness to know you have to leave your second family soon.
You have surrounded yourself with the finest of the finest in the business and as far as I could see, loving and fun people!!!
Thank you so much!!!!
We love you all.
It was realy great concert.
We was 3 meter for the band. It was great!!
I hope we seen you in germany the next year.
Best wishes for the band, the crew and all there families.
Best wishes from Fanz S. from Bamberg, a town 60 km near Schweinfurt
I need a really BIG favour, Mark. Is there a way to contact you other than this?
Ah Mark, what a lovely post…you’ll have the rest of us in tears too! What can I say that I haven’t already said on previous posts & that all of your other adoring fans haven’t already said? Other than you, Mike, Nathan, Sean & Pete have made so many peoples year this year, the scale of which I don’t think can be put into words. Thank you Mark & Mike for the long standing memories from my childhood to today and for many many years to come, my Level 42-mania will go on thanks to the original, fantastic music you have created over the last 30 years. Mike & Pete, thanks for chatting to us outside after the Bristol gig, you’re both so lovely & such a pleasure to talk to. Mark: talking to you after the Bristol gig was beyond words – thank you for being a fan’s unimaginable ideal of their idol, you are a true Gent and the nicest person I have ever met.
Bring on the next tour guys, the countdown has begun!
Lots of Love.

Yes!!!
The top pic is really very nice.
And i can see my wife and me in the audience.
We took about 300 km (and lots of beer) to join this gig. And it was more than worth.
Thank God i bought the DVD “Live in Holland 2009” as well. Pure Jazzfunk! The beginning with “Fashion Fever” & “Forever Now” already kills you. Fans all over the world – You need this!!!
Love & respect to all of you and your families for this awesome gig.
Hope see you soon…
A touching commentary from a man who has touched the lives of many this year, and the last 30 years for that matter. Seeing L42 earlier this year has been a real catalyst for me to get out of funk I had been living in, so I’m tremendously grateful. Thank you Mark, Mike, Nathan, Sean and Pete and all past L42 members – your contributions to my life have been appreciated.
On another note, reading Mark’s list of thanks I totally want a nickname now! Special thanks to everyone behind the scenes, including the beloved family members, who make our musical dreams come true.
– Pauline from Alberta aka “albertarose”
Thanks for an fantastic Evening !!!
You’re awesome and Pete is also an “animal” on drums, like Gary…
In the next year please try to make a gig in East Germany, maybe Berlin or Leipzig is a great place to play.
All the best for you an your families, a happy christmas-time, take care and see you next year !!!
